Tinho began his career in the 1980s, as part of the pioneering generation of urban art in Brazil. Starting with graffiti and evolving into painting, photography, and installation, the artist constructs a poetics that reflects on man and his relationship with urban space. His characters, recurring since the beginning of his career, reveal, under a delicate aesthetic, a critical and melancholic view of loneliness and the contradictions of life in cities.
