Mateu Velasco is a visual artist and designer with a degree and master's in Graphic Design from PUC-Rio. He began his career as an illustrator in 1999 and, in the 2000s, took his art to the streets through murals, developing his own unique language. His work, marked by urban references and a critical poetics, proposes a reflection on the humanization of the city, combining memories, graphic signs, and everyday elements in playful and sensitive compositions. Each fragment of his visual process invites the viewer to new narratives and interpretations of reality.
