 Paulo Vieira practices drawing daily, and his art is entirely tied to the process of discovery and inquiry, sometimes obsessively. His work does not reveal itself in a simple way, as it presents carefully articulated images revolving around the ideas of isolation, incommunicability, and inner life.
 In the "Heads" series, the artist deals with the subject and identity through a series of patterns that, however similar, will never be identical. Each head is unique, in a repetition that challenges the viewer not to remain on the surface of the work, but to delve into the tangle of prints and ideas of each piece.
