 The series "The Void That Consumes Us" emerges from reflection on the three-dimensionality of painting, in approximation to its expanded field, and from the deepening of still life as a traditional genre of this medium. To this end, Bruno uses empty packaging, collected over a long period and cleaned after the consumption of the products they contained. From then on, he traces an investigative path into global consumer society, where any action must conform to the parameters established by the market. In this way, he highlights the process of creating desire and access to global products and images – guaranteed by their fetishization.
